Bilawal celebrates Eid with family in London

LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari returned to Pakistan on Monday after celebrating Eid in London along with sisters Bakhtawar and Asifa, and aunt Sanam Bhutto. He has also shared his smiling group photos on his personal twitter account with friends and followers.

During his stay in London with family, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari continued his political activities and met with party office bearers of overseas wing as well as sent a flower bouquet to former first lady of Pakistan Begum Kulsoom Nawaz Sharif, who is fighting for life on ventilator after suffering from a  heart attack four days back in Harley Street Clinic in London.

According to press note issued by the media person of the PPP on Monday, Bilawal offered prayers and sent his best wishes for Kalsoom’s speedy recovery.

It is also clarified from the PPP’s media person and leader Munawar Anjum that Bilawal did not visit Kalsoom Nawaz in the hospital personally, contrary to what was reported by several Pakistani media outlets earlier.

In a separate press note, Bilawal Bhutto expressed condolence on occasion of the death anniversary of PPP’s former parliamentarian Fozia Wahab and leader Munawar Soharwardi terming them worthy assets of the party, who were close to his mother during her struggle for restoration of democracy in the country.

PPP co-chief, in his condolence message, further stated that political struggle of Fauzia Wahab and Munawar Soharwardi is unforgettable as they were front line soldiers of the PPP and workers should follow their footsteps.
