LAHORE: The Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Dr. Hassan Askari Rizvi Saturday said the only task before the interim set-up was to hold a free, fair and impartial election.
“We are here to assist the Election Commission of Pakistan,” he said while speaking during his visit to Child Protection Bureau Punjab.
Dr. Rizvi said they were striving hard for fair and free election so that no political party could complain about them.
He hinted out at induction of one or two more ministers in the provincial cabinet.
He said projects were in progress as were continuing before.
Dr. Askari said arrangements would be made for media to cover the election independently.
The chief minister lauded services of the Bureau for helping the destitute and neglected children.
He also cut a cake along children and distributed gifts among them.
