4 dead, 11 wounded as tractor rams into tree near Rawalpindi

KOHAT: A traffic accident on Thursday night claimed four lives along with 11 wounded near Rawalpindi Road.

According to authorities, the accident occurred when a tractor trolley rammed into a tree near the road.

The tractor was reportedly travelling from Pindi to Kohat when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

Rescue officials confirmed that the four deceased had died on the spot whereas the injured were shifted to a local hospital.

Emergency response officials said that the dead bodies were transferred to the local hospital so that they could be identified and claimed by their respective families.
