It is that time of the year again when all of us are pondering over different ways to collect a good amount of Eidi. Giving Eidi to your younger ones is like a tradition that has been followed since years in the Muslim society. It acts, very much, as a token of happiness that you present to your close and beloved on the festive occasion. Receiving Eidi is one of those moments on Eid that we all cherish.
So, this Eid, we have decided to help you out a little by giving you some tips to up your Eidi game.
Greet the guests
Greeting the guests that come to your house is one of the finest ways to collect Eidi. You just have to go, greet them nicely, and voila! You have bagged your fair share of Eidi right there in your hands.
Roam around
Keep circling the guests in case you feel your Eid greetings haven’t really amounted to anything. Doing the former won’t let them ignore your existence, whatever the case, and eventually you will be able to succeed.
Be the innocent kid that you are not
Keep your smart side away for a bit, and bring about that innocent look on your face. Follow this rule, and you will see magic happening.
The ‘importance of Eidi’
If nothing works, start talking about the importance of Eidi around your elders. Talk about how it is a source of happiness for both, the giver and the receiver.
Hover around your siblings
Siblings who earn are the best source for your needs. Hover around them, whine in front of them, and tell them Eidi is what excites you about Eid.
Pray, my friend!
Start praying on Chand Raat. Need we say more?
But wait! While you are busy doing all this, do not forget that there is a share in your Eidi for people who deserve it more than you do. So share your Eidi, with those in need, because sharing is a source of happiness for real.
Have a joyous Eid! All greetings to you.
