PTI seeks removal of top provincial bureaucrats for transparent polls

Lahore: In a letter to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Wednesday sought a complete overhaul on top slots in provincial bureaucracies ahead of the upcoming general election in the country. The letter written by the party’s spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry sought removal of the interior secretary, all provincial home secretaries, and home ministers, along with chief secretaries to ensure a free and fair election.
