Brother of journalist killed by unidentified attackers

SHIKARPUR: Local journalist of Shikarpur Imtaiz Ahmed’s younger brother was killed in an attack at his house at Marri Muhalla, in the limits of New Faujdari Police Station, on late Thursday night. According to police, Ali Nawaz alias Altaf Marri, aged around 28, was found dead in his house, it seems he was hit with iron rod by unidentified persons, which resulting, he was died instantly, police said. The area police shifted the body of the deceased to Civil Hospital Shikarpur for post-mortem examination and handed it over to his heirs after completing medical formalities. Imtaiz Ahmed Marri, local journalist said that we have no any enmity with anyone. Further investigation is underway till this story was filed while police have recovered iron rod from house.
