KHYBER AGENCY: As many as 29 suspected persons including four notorious militants were arrested by the forces in search operation carried out here in Shahkas area of tehsil Jamrud on Friday.
The Frontier Corps (FC)official while providing details said that some most wanted miscreants,had involved in bomb blasts and other militancy acts were netted in a day long search operation.
Huge quantity of arms also recovered in the operation. All the detainees were shifted to undisclosed destination for investigation, official said.
Two militants identified as Kashef and Naik Muhammad of Koki Khel tribe were also among the arrested who had allegedly carried an Improvised Explosive Device(IED)blast at filling station near Hawaldari post at January 24,2017.
Prior to it, curfew was imposed in the area and the locals were asked to stay at their homes.
