Pakistan cherishes ‘historic relations’ with Iran: COAS

RAWALPINDI: Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Hunar Dost called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday and discussed regional security situation and matters of mutual interests.

The COAS said that Pakistan’s historic relations with Iran are very important to the country. He said that no compromises will be made in relations with Iran. Bajwa said that military relations between the two countries will have positive impact on the regional peace.

The Iranian ambassador appreciated Radd-ul-Fassad operation against the terrorists.
