Businessman abducted in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: A businessman has been allegedly abducted by unidentified armed men within the limits of Sadiq Abad police. Tahir, associated with poultry business, was forcefully abducted by six armed masked men, riding two vehicles and fled the scene.

Police have registered a case and started an investigation.

Fire: A man set himself on fire after an argument with his wife in Attock. Waqeel Ahmad, 22, himself set on and received 60 burn injuries on his body. Police reached on the scene and shifted him to Holy Family Hospital for treatment in a critical condition. Police said that the victim had tried to persuade his wife several times before but refused to return home. Upon this they exchanged arguments and husband set himself on fire.

Mishap: A man was killed in a road mishap within the jurisdiction of Taxila police.

Ahsan Ali, son of the victim lodged a complaint with local police that his father was on the way back to home when their vehicle hit.
