ISLAMABAD: The Pakistanis have demonstrated that they are not afraid of terrorists and that their hearts are filled with courage to defeat cowardice and hatred, said State Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb after the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final match was successfully held at Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.
“The revival of the international cricket and spectacle of a cheering crowd makes you feel that you are part of something special,” she said. Marriyum added that the Punjab government, Punjab Police and armed forces made the mega event a success, which was fraught with logistic and security challenges. The minister said further, “We have demonstrated to the world that Pakistan’s greatest asset still remains to be its people. This was all brought together by visionary Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for a fearless and prosperous Pakistan. The PSL final is a platform to show the world that the country’s future is in right hands.”
