Two shot dead in Karachi

KARACHI: At least two people were shot dead in District Central of Karachi on Sunday evening. The incident took place near Sakhi Hassan Chowrangi in North Nazimabad. The victims were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where they were pronounced dead. They were later identified as 40-year-old Muhammad Rashid, son of Zahoor; and Abdul Wahid, 35, son of Siddiq. Law enforcers reached the crime scene and collected evidence. The police suspected that the incident occurred over resisting to a robbery bid. No case has been registered until the filing of this report.
