KHAIRPUR: Sindh police on Monday arrested 13 officials of Punjab police for conducting raids in Sindh without obtaining permission. A team of 13 officials of the Punjab police from Rahimyar Khan raided the village Khoso near Sukkur airport late on Sunday night without informing the Sindh government. These wayward police officials also arrested 3 other individuals; Nasrullah Khoso, Rafique Khoso, and Muhammad Sharif without cause. After coming to know about the raid, Sukkur police chased and arrested the 13 officers near Ghous Pur, district Kashmore-Kandhkot and registered an FIR against them. Sukkur police also recovered the arrested persons from their custody and two mobiles belonging to the policemen were also taken in to custody. Sukkur police brought them to the judicial magistrate court in Sukkur where they were sentenced to jail for 14 days. Talking to the media, Rafiqque Khoso said that Muhammad Qasim Khoso was killed by the guard of a builder in 2016. The case is under proceeding before the anti-terrorism court in Khairpur and the builder is pressurizing the prosecution to withdraw from the case. On Sunday evening, the Kot Sabzal police arrested those on the prosecution’s side in an effort to threaten them. The 13 officers, including ASI, are Irfan Adil, Saeed Ahmed Kaleemullah, Adnan, Abdul Qadir, Muhammad Kashif, Imran, Muhammad Saleem, Naseer Ahmed, Hafiz Abid Ali, Zaheer Ahmed, Jamil Ahmed, Muhammad Asharf and Saleem Ahmed.
