Using phones while driving

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Using cell phone while driving is one of the main causes of road accidents all over the world. In Pakistan, as well as several other countries, it is banned to talk on cell phones while driving.

Regretfully, people are openly using their phones while driving. It is unfortunate that the law is not taken seriously in this country. This is the reason that each day people are losing their lives because of traffic accidents. Still there is no action being taken against drivers who talk on their phones.

The government must take action to fix this problem as soon as possible. Drivers who talk on their phones must be heavily penalized so that people’s lives can be made safer.
