KHYBER AGENCY: Praising the approval of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) merger bill by the KP Assembly, the tribesmen on late Sunday held a celebration in Jamrud.

The jubilant tribesmen including Shah Jee Gul Afridi gathered at Bab-e-Khyber, a monument which stands at the entrance of the Khyber Pass, and chanted slogans in favour of merge.

The thrilled youths danced to the beat of drums to express their joy.

The tribesmen paid tribute to Gul Afridi for playing a pivotal role in abolishing the draconian law of Frontier Crime Regulation (FCR).

They carried out a rally from Bab-e-Khyber which culminated at Hayatabad, a suburb on the south-western fringe of Peshawar where an impressive firework commemorated the day.
