‘Work on road leading to SBBWU to start soon’

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise & Taxation, Mian Jamshid-ud-Din Kakakhel, while addressing a huge gathering at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, on the occasion of International Women day, announced that within few days construction works will be started on the road leads to the university.

He announced that the Government will soon establish two more universities for women at Charsadda & Nowshera at the first phase. He emphasized for women’s education and said that women are main agent of change.

He further said, that his government has recruited 35000 teachers on merit basis for the promotion of education in the province. He also assured the Vice-chancellor of the university that the present Government of PTI will take every step for the progress and development of the university and will resolve each and every problem of the university.

On this occasion, Vice-chancellor of the university, Dr. Razia Sultana said that the university is short in infrastructure and cannot progress without the support of the present Government. She further said that university is the key agent and women are the catalyst for change and development and her university provides a suitable platform for all kind of positive activities to the women of the province in particular and Pakistan in General.
