Police arrest man for killing sister for ‘honour’

JACOBABAD: A ‘ruthless’ man gunned down his sister and a youth on Saturday allegedly over an illicit relationship in Buland Dahani village, situated on the outskirts of Garhi Khairo, a taluka in the district of Jacobabad in Sindh province.
The police official, Jaan Muhammad Soomro revealed that Sadam Hussain Dahani, along with his accomplices, killed his 18-year-old sister Khanzadi and a close relative Allah Bakhsh Dahani using a Kalashnikov. Consequently, they had managed to escape from the crime scene. Later, the police shifted the body of deceased girl to the Civil Hospital Jacobabad and the body of deceased youth to Ghari Khairo tehsil hospital for medico-legal procedures. Thereby, the police claimed to have arrested Sadam Hussain after raiding a suspected hideout.
