GUJRANWALA: A youth was injured by a kite string on Sunday at Gujranwala flyover. Reportedly, Umer, along with his father, was riding a motorcycle when a kite string slit his arm and belly. Consequently, he was rushed to DHQ Hospital for medical treatment.
Woman dies, two injured in road accidents
A woman died while two others were left injured on Sunday in two road accidents at GT road in Gujranwala.
Reportedly, 50-year-old Nighat was crossing the road near Bhuta Plaza when a speeding car ran over her. She received critical wounds and died on the spot.
Meanwhile, Saqib, along with his wife, was riding a motorcycle when a van hit them. Resultantly, they were rushed to a hospital by a Rescue 1122 team.
Girl attempts suicide over trivial issue
A girl tried to commit suicide on Sunday by consuming poison pills over a domestic issue in Gujranwala. Reportedly, Firdous’s parents scolded her over a trivial issue. She was disheartened and tried to end her life. However, she was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.
