Other PTI leaders including Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Naeemul Haq, Jahangir Tareen and PTI spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry were also present to welcome the two former PPP leaders.

The PTI witnessed its own desertion, meanwhile, when the party’s MPA from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ms. Nargis Ali joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) on Friday.

Ms. Nargis met PML-Q leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain at his residence on Friday and announced her new allegiance there.
