HYDERABAD: Residents of Hyderabad on Thursday night protested against unscheduled load-shedding.
According to reports, various localities of Latifabad are out of power supply for the past few days due to some technical default in the transformer.
Residents had requested Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) employees to change the transformer but they got no response which led them to stage a protest against the authorities.
Angry protesters blocked the several roads by burning tires. They also raised slogans against the HESCO officials and demanded the restoration of electricity.
However, Police reached the spot to control the situation.
