Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Naeem Bukhari dismissed on Sunday claims that he was attacked in a possible murder attempt in London.

Mr Bukhari shot to fame when he won the infamous Panama Papers Case that led to the disqualification of then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in July 2017.

Bukhari suffered injuries to his head and to his ribs when he fell down from an underground train platform in London on Wednesday.

The PTI leader told a private news channel on Sunday that he had fainted and fell on the platform when he felt dizzy.

Police in Britain were initially investigating the incident as an attempted murder, but they too later dismissed this.
