LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President and Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said that people should vote for PML-N for continuity of development projects.
He said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chief Imran Khan and former president Asif Ali Zardari have only chanted hollow slogans while “we have worked hard day and night for the progress of our people. Let us know if there is any such hospital like Layyah and Vihari”.
The Punjab chief minister vowed that he will make every hospital of Punjab exemplary. The CM was talking to delegations of different elected members and further said that health culture was changing in Punjab as now tests of government hospitals were standard and done instantly. Also high quality medicines were being made available. He said that pathology laboratories were being set up at 26 district headquarters under a subjective system which will provide facility of more than 43 free medical tests whose fee will be paid by the Punjab government. He said that pathology labs will be established in three steps throughout the province and their setup will be handed over to the administration of best foreign pathology labs.
The CM said that renowned Japanese company Hitachi with its personal system will provide facility of CT scan tests at district hospitals where 24 hour CT scan services will be available for patients. He assured that there won’t be any excuse of absence of doctors and staff or out of order machines.
“We have allocated 42 percent of development budget for South Punjab which is an unparalleled precedent in history,” he said.
During a meeting with Federal Minister of Defense Khurram Dastgir, CM Punjab said that he hoped that astute voters will once again vote for PML-N. Khurram Dastgir said that Shehbaz Sharif was such a leader of whom Pakistan was proud of. Ideas regarding political matters and overall situation were exchanged during the meeting.
Shehbaz Sharif announced financial assistance for the families of those who lost their lives in the firing accident at Kharaan, Balochistan. He said that the Punjab government will provide the bereaved families of the labourers with Rs 1,000,000 each.
