MC organises ‘Malakhro’ wrestling

DADU: A cultural game of Malakhro, an ancient Sindhi form of wrestling which dates back to 5000 years, was organised by the Mella Committee (MC) on Sunday at the sports ground of Sehwan city.

The Chairman Mella Committee and Jamshoro Deputy Commissioner (DC) Capt (R) Fariduddin Mustafa inaugurated the wrestling while Maryam Keerio was the convener.

On the first day of annual Urs celebration of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, the renowned Malakhro players including Manthar Bugti, Qurban, Soonharo, Hamal Chandio, Salam Gosh, Jan Mohammad lund, Saban, Hakim, Deedar, Sudheer leghari, Safdar Almani, Mohram Jamali, Hussain Mughery, Zahid Hussain, Inyatullah, Abdul Khaliq, Ghulam Nabi Sheedi, , Allah Dad Birohi, Amin Dahri, Aijaz Mghanhar, Usman Chohan, Rahman Almani, Wahid Jiskani, and Roshan Mari participated in the play.

Finally, Maryam Keerio distributed awards and cash prizes among winners of the game.
