Pakistan, Belarus agree to enhance bilateral trade

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Belarus have agreed to form special committees to increase bilateral cooperation in trade and economic activities.

The understanding to this effect was reached at a meeting between Sindh Board of Investment Chairperson Naheed Memon and Belarus delegation, led by Minister of Industries Vitaly Vovk, in Karachi on Sunday.

During the meeting, matters related to cooperation in various fields including industries, agriculture and dairy products came under discussion.

It was decided that special committees would conduct study and observe major sectors for cooperation. The meeting also discussed cooperation in banking sector, exchange of trade delegations, joint ventures in automobile and pharmaceutical industry and tractor assembling in Pakistan.
