FAISALABAD: A University of Agriculture (UOA) Faisalabad student went missing as she left the campus after attending the classes.
According to the police, the woman’s brother, Lal Prasad said that his sister, Basanti, left for university on April 29 but did not return home.
Lal Prasad further said that he tried to call his sister on phone, but could not reach her.
The police filed a kidnapping case against unidentified people on complaint of Basanti’s brother.
Earlier in March, a Government College University (GCU) student, Abida, went missing in the same manner, while her tortured dead body was found from a canal.
Autopsy reports suggested that the victim had been subjected to sexual assault before being murdered.
