1 killed, 7 injured in attack on vehicle near Attock

ATTOCK: One person was killed and seven others were injured as two motorcyclists targeted bus, carrying civilian employees, with explosive material near Attock on Thursday.

According to reports, the motorcyclists opened fire at the bus as it slowed down at a speed breaker on the Basal road.

Security forces rushed to the scene after the attack and cordoned off the area. Injured were taken to the nearby hospitals where an emergency was imposed.

A search operation was conducted but the culprits could not be arrested yet.

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the incident and ordered authorities to provide all medical facilities to the injured.

No one has claimed the responsibility of the attack yet.
