PTI claims to have gained mandate of people in KP

PESHAWAR: The Adviser to the Chief Minister on Housing, Dr. Amjad, has claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ousted the feudalists from politics by gaining the mandate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) people.

Dr Amjad was addressing the Sehat Insaf Card distribution ceremony at Dagai-Swat here on Sunday. He said that all successive political parties including Jamaat-e-Islami, Awami National Party (ANP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) were the parties of landlords, Khans, and Nawabs.

He said that the feudal mind-set had put the province on the verge of collapse financially by committing unprecedented corruption. The leaders of the political parties did nothing effective for the poor man of the province.

Dr. Amjad claimed that only PTI had introduced reforms in the province in order to provide relief and basic necessities of life to the common man and stop the ways of corruption.

He said that JI, PML-N and ANP leaders were absorbed in nepotism and corruption before the PTI came into power in the province and initiated policies and reforms which would provide relief and rights to the people at their door steps.

Dr. Amjad lashed out at the ANP for its fake propagandas against the PTI and said that the party was unnerved by the developmental schemes of the present government and was therefore trying to divert the positive opinion of the public.

Referring to the middle school of Dagai village he said that the ADP of the school was not approved during the government of the ANP but during the 2014-15 Annual Developmental Plan of the current government.

He said that education and health were the two main priorities of its party and the other parties were on a false propaganda to abstain the government from entrusting the due rights of the poor.

Dr. Amjad said that the Sehat Insaf Card programme would cover all the deserving and needy people of the province to get free of cost health treatment at government run hospitals and no discrimination would be rendered in card allotment.

The representatives of the JI in Kabul tehsil did not agree to streamline the provision of the government facility and relief package to the poor people but the PTI party leadership had always fought the battle against the corruption and would continue the drive in future he added.
