Civil society demands CJP to take notice of Saima’s murder

KHAIRPUR: A public demonstration was held on Tuesday against the brutal rape and murder of Saima Jarwar.

According to a report, a massive rally was led by non-governmental organisations (NGOs), Hope Foundation and SRCP, which accumulated at the front of press club in Khairpur.

In her address, a social activist Gull Jumani expressed grave concerns over increased child abuse cases in the country and said that people had been suffering from stress and depression due to their children’s insecurity.

She demanded Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) to take a suo moto notice of the incident.

A large number of social activists, traders, journalists and notables participated in the rally.
