Electricity pole falls on people celebrating Holi, 2 die, 8 injured

KHAIRPUR: Two people including a young boy were killed and 8 others injured when an electricity pole fallen on them in Khan Gharh town on Monday. According to detail, local Hindus were celebrating Holi festival in Khan Gharh town of district Ghotki, electricity pole fallen on the people playing with colors, due to which young boy Suntesh Kumar, and Shakeel Mochi were died on the spot while other 8 people were injured whose shifted to Ghotki and Rahim yar khan hospitals. The residents told Daily Times that they complaint several times to SEPCO authorities for removal of electric poll but they did not change the poll which cause died off two people. They demanded to probe the matter and action taken against defaulters.
