Radd-ul-Fasaad to restore peace in Pakistan: COAS

ISLAMABAD: According to a statement by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General QamarJaved Bajwa, Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad’s prime objective was to restore long-term peace and prosperity in the region.

The COAS was invited to the Pak-UK Seminar on ‘Sharing Experiences in Stabilisation and Peace Efforts’ at National Defence University. Bajwa explained Pakistan Army’s operations against terrorism from 2007, till the present Radd-ul-Fasaad.

While addressing the gathering, Bajwa said, “Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad will transform the anti-terrorism success into long-term peace.” He shed light on Pak Army’s achievements against terrorism from the very start.
