In his address to the occasion, Jacobabad PTI information secretary Raaz Khan Pathan called PTI, an accessible party for a common man as the party formulates policies for a greater contact with people at grassroots level.
Furthermore, he praised the cricketer-turned-politician, Imran Khan who founded the party 22 years ago with an aim to resolve issues of poverty-stricken people of Pakistan. Since then, PTI has been striving for the welfare of the people.
Mr Pathan further expresses his happiness on the eve of 22nd founding anniversary of PTI and said that Imran Khan is the only leader who has fought against corrupt political leadership.
“He aims for a ‘corruption-free’ system to be implemented in the country where fundamental rights are secured for a common man,” he remarked.
He expressed hope that Imran Khan would be the next Prime Minister of Pakistan with support of the general public. A cake was also cut to commemorate the anniversary.
Double murder FIR lodged
A case of double murder was lodged against Ghulam Shabir at Miranpur police station on Tuesday.
The station house officer (SHO) Mian Javeed Ahmed arrested the accused and recovered an axe, which was used as a tool of murder. Meanwhile, further investigation is underway, according to the police. The accused strangled his daughter Girh Naz and killed his nephew Nazeer Ahmed with an axe over suspicion of illicit relationship.
