ISLAMABAD: The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Nisar on Tuesday summoned sugar mill owners from across the country to appear before the Supreme Court on April 26.
A three-judge bench, headed by Justice Nisar while consisting of Justice Umar Ata Bandial and Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, conducted hearing of non-payments to sugarcane growers case.
In his remarks, the CJP summoned sugar mill owners to present themselves before the apex court in personal capacity and record an explanation over the matter.
A notice has also been issued to all respondents pertaining the matter.
