LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader from Kasur Dr Azeemuddin Lakhvi joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday.
The PML-Q leader announce his decision during an official meeting with PTI Chairman Imran Khan and other party leaders.
On the other hand, another politician from Kasur, Lt Colonel (retd) Muhammad Hashim Dogar also announced to join the PTI during meeting with Khan.
Speaking on occasion, the PTI chief welcomed the newcomers to the party. He also told the journalists that on Sunday, “you will all see a Tsunami Plus this time around”.
Azeemuddin will contest for the seat of MNA from NA 139 constituency, while Muhammad Hashim will contest for the seat of MPA from PP 177.
