ISLAMABAD: Addressing reporters inside the accountability court that will hear the Avenfield properties references against him, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that it was important to look into Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq’s statements on the election of the incumbent Senate chairman.
“Imran should ask himself who directed his party’s votes in the Senate election,” Sharif added, further wondering how those who practice unprincipled politics could possibly bring change.
The former premier also asked Imran to come out in the open over his vote for the Peoples Party, and to tell everyone how the PTI’s Chaudhry Sarwar managed to win a Senate seat from Punjab.
