Punjab Highway Police arrest 242 culprits and recover cash, valuables and drugs

LAHORE: The Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) has arrested 242 culprits including 134 Proclaimed Offenders (PO), court absconders and has ecovered cash, valuables, drugs as well as illegal weapons from their possession on Sunday.

According to details, PHP teams arrested 134 POs and six court absconders included Riaz, Shafiq, Hassan, Saifullah, Tariq Masih, Basharat Masih, Adnan, Rizwan, Asif, Zeeshan, Naveed, Majid, Saiqa Bibi, Ali Raza, Hamza, Nauman, Naseer, Liaquat, Ismail, Ghafoor, Allah Ditta, Haider, Ahmad Yar, Ibadullah, Sami, Safdar, Ali, Zawar, Shafqat, Azhar Mahmood, Ameer Hamza, Hassan, Rafaqat Ali, Shahid and Zaffar.

Similarly, PHP teams arrested 62 culprits namely, Tanvir, Ghafoor, Aslam, Yousaf, Zeeshan, Yasir, Tehzeeb, Fiaz, Tariq, Nadeem, Naeem, Shaukat, Gul Muhammad, Saifullah, Wasim, Ehsan, Saeed, Taufiq, Majeed, Naeed, Asif, Ashraf, Boota, Tanveer, Nafees, Tayyab, Waqar, Kamal Raza, Riaz, Munir Hussain and recovereed 1,471 litre liquor and 13,186 gramm of hashish.

PHP teams also arrested 40 culprits namely Amir, Ajmal, Idrees, Baz Khan, Wahab, Muhammad Irfan, Bilal, Shahid, Muzamil, Afzal, Maqsood, Lal Khan, Naimatullah, Inayatullah, Irfan, Inam, Shahzad, Dilawar, Naveed, Shahbaz, Rashid, Anwar, Shahid Raza and Latif on possessing illegal arms and recovered 28 pistols, three Kalashnikovs, four rifles, seven guns, 11 cartridges, 11 magazines and 233 bullets from their possession.
