According to police, five-year-old Ali Nawaz and eight-year-old Naseerudin, died while Abdullah, Abdul Latif and Kamran sustained injuries when they were playing and suddenly a wall and school gate collapsed over them.

The locals rushed on the spot and recovered them from the debris. They were shifted to Taluka Hospital Madeji for treatment and postmortem examination respectively.

The injured children were shifted to Chandka Medical College Hospital in Larkana for further treatment due to their critical condition, however their condition was stablised.

The villagers alleged that contractors used substandard material during the construction of primary school in 2007 and since then they have written many applications to higher authorities to open the school but the school remained school due to its dilapidated condition.
