TIMERGARA: Opposition leader in the district council in Lower Dir Malik Muhammad Zeb Khan on Wednesday accused senior officials of police of pressurizing local police to change the report of a murder case of a girl.
Talking to reporters, Muhammad Zeb Khan said the police in Khall had conducted investigation into the murder case of a girl who was kidnapped and killed some two months back.
He alleged that despite completion of investigation into the matter senior officials of police were pressurising Khall Police Station to stop sending the report to the court and conduct another inquiry. He added that the girl’s body was recovered from Batkhela in Malakand Agency after the information shared by the accused in police custody. “The investigation was conducted on merit but some influential persons wanted to change the report before its submission to the court,” he alleged.
