No need of any enemy as the intolerance will harm our country: Ahsan Iqbal

ISLAMABAD: Country passing through the crises of critical and intellectual thinking as our in-depth social researches in the institutions of the country are low in frequency or facing through various challenges but the only way to get rid of the country social problems through in-depth researches by our own people according to our own geography and culture not blind following of Western countries, as the country every segment is passing through the extreme intolerance which is enough to destroy us in the absence of any enemy this was told by Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal to consultative session. Consultative session was organized by ministry of interior and planning development and reforms under the theme of “Importance of social sciences in the knowledge economy of Pakistan” at the ideas lab in the ministry of science and technology. The importance of the event was to establish further Pakistan’s vision 2025. Which positions Human capital at the top of the National Agenda?

The event also marked the inauguration of the ideas Lab, a project if the Interior Minister, Ahsan Iqbal, to provide a platform for experts to collectively work to find the solution of the problems.

Ahsan highlighted the funding granted to HEC to establish the Pakistan Academy of social sciences which would hopefully bear fruition in the coming years, acknowledging the necessity of technical experts there is dearth of professionals in the social sciences arena. The concerns can be effectively addressed by promoting social sciences in Pakistan.

Commenting on a question The Interior minister told that Pakistan have various ethnic, religious and linguistics fault lines which can create problems for the country stability if we did not respond to our core issues seriously.

He further told that Islam and Quran taught us the lesson of tolerance and observation as it’s the religion of peace and stability but some masses promoting hates on roads and deciding there and the citizens of the country should do deep observation taking any step.

Answering a questions about the implementation of the National Action Plan he argue that terrorism and extremism is deep rooted problems of this country and no politician or bureaucrats solely but the responsibility comes on the shoulder of every Pakistani and we with joint efforts can tackle this.

He further told that in today country social and political arena it’s not possible to attend any cultural or religious festive of any minority as in next ten minutes you will be excluded from the religion and same happened when I was in UK and some of my pictures were shares of social media with official there and in next 10 minutes people commented on my social wall that you are no more Muslim this is the issue that we should think seriously.
