After his impressive performance in Coke Studio season 10, Sajjad Ali released a brand new song called, “Lagaya Dil”. The video is directed by Sajjad’s own daughter, Zaw Ali. The legendary singer and musician’s latest song is harmonious and is based on the tale of young love, unforgettable infatuations, the tests, troubles and most importantly, the feeling love brings in ones lives.

Set in a college/university setting, the song follows a number of stories, however, like most love stories, the majority of them are only one sided. The video and lyrics perfectly encapsulate what it is like to be young and in love and, what it feels like having your heart broken. It is a quite refreshingly shot video with beautiful lyrics, which appeals to you more because of its simplicity and the raw emotions.

The 4 minute song is a perfect combination of Sajjad Ali’s vocals and a brilliant composition. The refreshing music video seems to be following the lyrical narrative.  As soon as, “Lagaya Dil” was made public, Sajjad’s fans have been appreciating and praising the perfect synergy of the extremely moving lyrics and the direction of the video.

After releasing the new music video on his YouTube channel, Sajjad Ali’s fandom has gone to a new level. The “Hur Zulm” singer’s fans are waiting to hear some more brilliant music from him.
