JACOBABAD: A youth was shot dead over a trivial issue at Sojhiro Umrani village in Sadar police precincts on Sunday night.
According to police, 26 years old Saifullah allegedly intercepted Ali Nawaz Gorshani to pass through his street. Consequently, brawl erupted between the two and Ali Nawaz gunned down Saifullah. The accused managed to flee from the spot.
After receiving information, the police arrived immediately and shifted the body of the deceased to the Civil Hospital for post mortem examination.
Meanwhile, the police have registered first information report (FIR) against the suspect Ali Nawaz.
