To express an affiliation and tempestuous feelings towards their motherland, the moot then moved towards Bacha Khan Chowk in Landi Kotal Bazaar where it converted into a public gathering.
A large number of people participated in the rally carrying Pakistan national flags and banners inscribed with slogans in favour of the forces.
Malik Fazullah Jan Koki Khel, Mualana Ateeq, Malik Saidgha Jan Afridi, Mirajuddin Shinwari and others paid rich tribute to the sacrifices, rendered jointly by the forces and civilians for the motherland while fighting against terrorism and said ironically that handful miscreants were busy in character assassination of the forces.
They said that heavy price has been paid for the peace restoration and no one would be allowed to sabotage the peaceful environment of the country under the pretext of Pakhtun rights.
“The malefactors intend to create misunderstanding between the forces and civilians but they would not be successful in their wicked designs as every patriotic Pakistani is ready to lay down his life for the country”, they remarked.
The speakers urged the people to cement their unity and recognise the evil forces that criticise the armed forces of Pakistan for their self interests and benefit the enemies. The participants then marched towards the Torkham border where they chanted slogans against India and America.
