ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry on Saturday lashed out at Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz over her remarks against the the opposition parties.

“Before criticising the opposition parties and their leaders, Maryam Nawaz should first look into her father’s political history. Nawaz and Zardari have always been brothers and Nawaz, Saad Rafique, PM Abbasi; all of them took their first oath from Musharraf,” Fawad said while speaking to the media in Islamabad.

Lauding PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Fawad said that Imran has transformed the party into a ‘machine’, without which it is impossible to win elections and that PTI has also turned into a sea in which all rivers run into.

He continued the process of PML-N disintegration is underway and that more Nawaz league leaders are going to join the PTI in the coming days.

He also rejected that PTI and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would join hands in Punjab for ‘seat-adjustment’. “To form alliance with the PPP is to commit political suicide. They do not have candidates of their own in Punjab and we did not even join hands with them during Senate elections,” Fawad added.

Fawad also confirmed that the PTI has decided its nominee for caretaker prime ministership and that the name would soon be forwarded to Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah.
