LAHORE: Several student organisations and civil society groups on Friday gathered outside Lahore Press Club to mark the first death anniversary of Mashal Khan, a journalism student at Abdul Wali Khan University who was brutally murdered by a lynch mob over fake allegations of posting blasphemous content online.
One person has been sentenced to death since and five others have been given life imprisonment but Mashal’s family still awaits justice.
The participants of the march paid tribute to Mashal and demanded justice for the victim’s family.
