Author: Turyal Azam Khan

The first song from the upcoming Pakistani film Motorcycle Girl has been released and it has built up a momentum for the Sohai Ali Abro starrer even more intense than before.

The song features the mesmerizing voice of Ali Noor of Noori with Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan (Xulfi) being responsible for the production of the song, guitars and keys, composition and arrangement and the lyrics. Also involved are Sherry Khattak with the composition and arrangement as well as backing vocals, Sami Khan who has written the lyrics and Farhan Ali who is on bass.

The music video shows Sohai Ali Abro’s character getting ready for a journey of a lifetime as she learns how to ride a motorcycle as guided by her brother and then the support from her family as she prepares to plan a trip to the Northern areas of Pakistan. It shows a determined and hardworking woman putting herself out there and facing whatever obstacle lies ahead depicting the struggle and journey of Zenith Irfan, the real life motorcycle girl on whom the biopic is based.

The music video also shows a passionate Abro riding all alone with the beautiful landscape of the northern areas in the backdrop.

Urr Chalay is not just a song; it’s an anthem for those who are struggling in life. It has a message for them; follow your dreams and challenge and defeat the obstacles that come your way. The song is an inspiration for those who are currently striving in life much like real life Zenith Irfan who has inspired many because of what she was passionate about and facing the challenges that came her way.

The Sohai Ali Abro starrer also features Ali Kazmi, Samina Peerzada, Sarmad Khoosat and Shamim Hilali. Motorcycle Girl has been written and directed by Adnan Sarwar and has been coproduced by Jami while Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan (Xulfi) is involved in the music production for the film. It is inspired by the true story of Zenith Irfan who travelled to the Northern areas of Pakistan alone on a motorbike making her late father’s dream come true.

Motorcycle Girl is set to ride on 20th April in cinemas across Pakistan.
