BAHAWALPUR: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Tuesday foiled a major terror bid in Bahawalpur and arrested 3 terrorists.

The CTD acted upon a tip off that terrorists affiliated to the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were planning to attack sensitive installations in Bahawalpur.

The counter-terror department conducted a raid near the Southern Bypass and arrested three terrorists, while the forces have also recovered explosives, ball bearings and detonators from their possession.

The terrorists were identified as Abu Ameer, Muhammad Mudassar and Muhammad Taqi.
