LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid’s (PML-Q) President Chaudry Shujaat Hussain’s book ‘Sach To Hai’ to be launched on Tuesday has brought forth startling revelations detailing former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s direction to Shujaat for framing Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Asif Ali Zardari in a fake narcotics case.

The book on Page 328 alleges Nawaz of conspiring against Zardari by framing him in a narcotics case. Shujaat details his interactions with the political leaders, stating that he had refused Nawaz’s direction to which later Zardari acknowledged in 2011 that he had become the president due to Shujaat.

The PML-Q Leader further reveals that Nawaz had promised to make Pervaiz Elahi Chief Minister of Punjab in 1997; however, when he sworn in as PM, he appointed Shehbaz Sharif as CM.  He also alleged former PM Shaukat Aziz of lodging complaint against the-then Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Chaudhry to Pervez Musharraf.

Chaudhry revealed that he had advised Musharraf to settle differences with Chaudhry Iftikhar after his reinstatement but his supporters didn’t allow.

Shujaat in his book stated that Musharraf had used to term former PM Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali as extremely lazy and had reservations about him. Chaudhry claimed that he had advised Jamali to resign from public office.

The book also made shocking revelations regarding the 2008 elections to be rigged and that the United States was makings efforts for Benazir Bhutto to resume power.

PML-Q President said that the book was nothing but the truth and statement of facts that were unknown to the masses.
