MULTAN: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday said that Nawaz Sharif has been ousted from politics forever and now the party’s contest is with PML-Shehbaz.

“Nawaz Sharif is finished forever. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is now PML-Shehbaz and PPP’s competition is with the Shehbaz league and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI),” Bilawal said while speaking to the media in Multan.

He continued that both PML-N and PTI share a similar political agenda and that there would not be any change in policy if either one of the two parties is chosen to power.

Continuing his jabs at PML-N, Bilawal said that “our rivals claim that they have done so and so.” He added that Nawaz has only led the Metro project in his 3 tenures and that the PML-N government claims to have ended the energy crisis, but it is nowhere to be seen.

He also termed the accountability system of the country as a “fraud”. “We want that accountability is practiced on equal level and there must be one law for every Pakistani,” Bilawal added.

The PPP co-chief said that PPP has always taken steps to guarantee welfare of the general public and that the party has paid special importance to South Punjab.
