KARACHI: Anti-terrorism Courts’ Administrative Judge on Saturday handed a suspect, affiliated with banned outfit, over to police on physical remand custody in Chuadhry Aslam murder case.
Police produced Zafar Ali – alias Sain- before the court amid tight security to get him remanded for interrogation. The investigating officer (IO) submitted that the suspect was arrested on March 6, along with three accomplices in some other cases. During the interrogation Sain disclosed his involvement in the murder of Chuadhry Aslam, the IO added.
Police requested the judge to allow them to investigate the suspect in by granting his physical remand. While accepting the police’s request, the court handed Sain over to police till March 20.
