Pak youth active in every department: COAS

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday said that the youth of the country is playing an active role in progress and development of every department.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a delegation of Cornell University students met COAS during its visit to Pakistan.

Speaking on occassion, Gen Bajwa said that the armed forces have ensured measures to counter terrorism and establish peace within the country and the region. “Our youth has shown great courage in the country’s fight against terrorism,” he added.

COAS continued that the youth around the world has a crucial role to play and that the youth of Pakistan is actively participating in every department.

The delegation lauded Pakistan saying that it is a peaceful and welcoming nation and that they will return to the United States (US) and share their experiences.
