Faisalabad police seeks locals’ help to trace out murderers

FAISALABAD: Police have appealed to the citizens of Faisalabad for information to trace out the murderers of a six years old girl and a woman of 21 years old.

A week has passed since murders of a girl in subdivision of Jaranwala and a woman in Dijkot. Police have also used social media to appeal the citizens regarding any possible information that could be helpful for them.

Meanwhile, Protests have mounted over rape and murder of Abida, 21, who was a student of Government College University. She went missing on March 25. After three days, her body was recovered from the subdivision of Dijkot. Her post mortem report suggested that she was raped before being killed. Enraged protesters forced to shut down the shops in Dijkot. However, police have been unable to trace out murderers. Police have conducted interrogation of suspects using the data of mobile phone of the deceased.

Second incident took place few days later when a minor girl went missing and later, her body was found in the fields of Jaranwala. The incident has sparked outrage and protests across entire district demanding arrest of her murderer.
