PML-N lawmaker Ramesh Kumar joins PTI

KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Ramesh Kumar has decided to jump ships to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), it was revealed on Friday.

According to sources, the Tharparkar native will announce his decision in a press conference after meeting PTI chief Imran Khan at his residence.

Kumar was elected to the National Assembly of PML-N candidate on a seat reserved for minorities in general elections 2013.

Last month, MNA from Faisalabad Dr Nisar Ahmed Jutt and Tariq Mehmood, MNA from NA-98 constituency of Gujranwala also announced their move to the PTI.
